I met Edwina in February of 2008 when my husband first started his business.  Edwina was recommended to us as a good person to call.  She came into the office and was very professional, but with a demeanor that made you feel at ease.  She gave us her overview of what we needed to do and how she could help us reach our goals.  We set up appointments where she came and guided me through setting up my system (QuickBooks) and procedures.  She gave me outlines and schedules to follow for taxes and helped come up with solutions to problems as things came up.  She was just a call away if I ran into anything I needed help with and was very accomodating when I needed her to come in and help me rebuild when my computer had a meltdown and totally crashed.  Edwina is very easy to work with and has a calming way about her, which when dealing with money matters is a great asset.

I knew Edwina as a colleague in the Seafood industry for some five years (1993-98) and more recently as an independent bookkeeper .  Edwina worked from my office, as an independent contractor, for the period of four months in 2007.  During that time she prepared complicated crew settlements using Excel, payroll on QuickBooks, and payroll quarterly returns.  She was responsible for maintaining employee records for 10 different entities.  She went on to perform these same services for the same business entities, assisting with the set up of their accounting department and office procedures during the following 10 months.  I believe Edwina is proficient in QuickBooks and is attentive to her clients' needs.
